EAST OF ENGLAND

Judge Mr Keith Pursglove

After a slow start due to the fact no one could get into the car park show the committee decided to delay judging til 10. This gave the rain a good head start and flooded part of the benching areas- Thankfully the judge decided to stay out as most breeds were sent indoors with no benching and a slippy floor. We managed to pinch the next ring which was vacated so the ring then changed from a minute (1/3 flooded) ring to a huge very wet one but everyone seemed to enjoy the laughs and fun. Mud mud and water made for a interesting show but we are tough. It was nice to see a few new faces Mrs Woolf at her first show with her Greyflax Oosy Daisy got a 4th in Junior Bitch and her face says it all. Any pictures used Red Cross donation as normal and thank you I collected £30 Red Cross cash from Ollandhart and Ardneish for Windsor.

BITCH CC ROSSLYN PIPPA OF BEARDSWOOD ------DOG CC BOB CH HYNDSIGHT RIDDICK

My thanks to all the exhibitors who dealt with the far from ideal conditions underfoot, but which I felt was preferable to moving inside, and to my Stewards who kept things moving so well. I found temperaments to be excellent in all exhibits and the depth of quality has improved since I last judged.
